Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use in the Prezzly service and for what purpose. It supplements the Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on the User’s device when using websites. They allow, among other things, keeping a sign-in session and the correct operation of the service.
2. Minimisation - we use only necessary cookies
As at the date of publication of this Policy, the Service uses only cookies necessary for its operation. We do not use marketing or analytics cookies, we do not build advertising profiles and we do not share cookie data for marketing purposes.
Necessary cookies, in accordance with the rules on the provision of electronic services and telecommunications law, do not require the User’s consent, because they are essential to provide the service the User requests.
3. Which cookies and technologies we use
| Name / type | Purpose | Nature | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
prezzly_session |
Keeping the sign-in session across the Service’s subdomains (application and API). | Necessary | Session duration |
prezzly_guest_uid |
Associating Content uploaded under a Guest Account with the same browser (enables later claiming of the Content). | Necessary | 7 days |
| Authentication provider cookies (Clerk) | Handling sign-in and maintaining authentication state. | Necessary | Per provider settings |
Technologies similar to cookies (e.g. browser storage mechanisms) may also be used to operate the Service, to the extent necessary to provide it. Presentation Content is served in an isolated (sandbox) environment in which access to cookies and browser storage is restricted.
4. Managing cookies
The User can manage cookies in their browser settings, including deleting or blocking them. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent signing in or the correct use of the Service.
5. Future changes
If we introduce cookies other than necessary in the future (e.g. analytics or marketing), we will ask for consent before using them - where the law requires it - through a consent management mechanism (cookie banner), and we will update this Policy.
6. Contact
For matters relating to cookies, please contact us at [email protected]. The rules for processing personal data are described in the Privacy Policy.
