Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) forms an integral part of the Prezzly Terms of Service and sets out how the Service may not be used. Capitalised terms have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Service.

Using the Service in breach of this Policy may result in restriction, suspension or permanent removal of Content or an Account, on the terms set out in the Terms of Service.

1. General principle

The Service must be used in accordance with the law, good practice, the Terms and this Policy, respecting the rights and security of others and the stability of the Service.

2. Prohibited content

It is prohibited to upload, store, share or present through the Service content that:

• is unlawful or infringes third-party rights, including copyright, industrial property rights, personal rights or trade secrets,
• breaches data protection law (e.g. sharing individuals’ data without a legal basis),
• contains material inciting hatred, violence or discrimination, or glorifying such conduct,
• constitutes child sexual abuse material or other absolutely prohibited content,
• is defamatory, misleading, fraudulent (including phishing) or involves impersonating other persons or entities,
• breaches confidentiality obligations or discloses classified information without authorisation.

3. Prohibited technical conduct

It is prohibited to:

• distribute malicious software, harmful scripts, exploits or code designed to compromise security,
• attempt unauthorised access to the Service, other Users’ accounts, data or infrastructure,
• circumvent, disable or interfere with safeguards, limits or mechanisms of the Service,
• burden the Service disproportionately or in a way that threatens its stability (including DoS/DDoS attacks),
• perform automated mass data collection (scraping) in a manner that breaches the Terms or burdens the Service,
• use the Service to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam).

4. Resource and MCP abuse

1. The Service provides a programmatic interface, including MCP used by AI tools acting on behalf of the User.
2. Abuse of this interface is prohibited, in particular generating artificial, excessive traffic, circumventing limits or using automation in a way that threatens the stability or security of the Service.
3. The Provider may apply safeguards against abuse that are invisible to the User. Normal, intended use is not restricted by them.

5. Active content and embedding

1. Content may contain code executed in the browser. Content is served in an isolated (sandbox) environment; however, the User bears full responsibility for the content and behaviour of the uploaded code.
2. It is prohibited to include in Content any code that: tracks or profiles recipients without a legal basis, misleads them, redirects them to harmful content, or attempts to break out of the isolation of the environment.

6. Guest Accounts and claiming Content

It is prohibited to use the Guest Account mechanism or the Content claim mechanism to take over Content that does not belong to the User, and to obtain or share other people’s secret management links.

7. Reporting violations

Violations of this Policy or unlawful content can be reported to [email protected]. The rules for handling reports and the Provider’s actions are described in the Terms of Service (moderation and content reports).

8. Consequences of a breach

1. In the event of a breach of this Policy, the Provider may - proportionately to the severity of the breach - warn the User, restrict features, suspend or remove Content or the Account.
2. In serious cases (e.g. absolutely prohibited content, security threats), the Provider may act immediately, without prior warning, to the extent permitted by law.
3. Provisions on informing the User in advance and on Consumer rights apply in accordance with the Terms of Service.
